Jamaasian Movement!

Before we leap into the topic of discussion, I do want to make an announcement. Just scroll on by if you're not interested in my personal life. I will be leaving this Wednesday (6/20/2012) to go help my sister and her kids in Maryland. I'm super excited to go, and I'll still probably be on Animal Jam (I will be bringing my laptop with me), but I just wanted to tell my friends why I might not be on until possibly the 21st. Of course, I still may get on, but I did want to warn you of the possibility. Also, my laptop has gone wacky. The battery has drained to the point where it's always 7% charged and it won't charge any further than that, so if I try to unplug it, it will die. So, if I log off randomly while you are talking to me, just know that my charger betrayed me, the outreach thing!

First of all, please go and read the History of Jamaa.
http://animaljamspirit.blogspot.com/p/jamaa.html
For your general information, that's Snowyclaws blog. They're the Jammer that started this whole movement. Snowyclaw asks us what we can do to make Animal Jam a beter and more mythical place.
Snowyclaw writes Animal Jam HQ asking them:
What happened to the shamans? I met Graham, the monkey shaman, last summer and no one has seen any of the shamans since. Liza, the explorer, may be exploring other lands but the others...Shouldn't they be in Jamaa? Peck The Artist..Cosmo the herbalist...Sir Gilbert the warrior..Graham the inventor..Greely the magician, and what about the new shamans? They have no stories, and some don't even have names! No one knows who Mira is besides "The mother of everything you see here in Jamaa." No one knows her as the sky mother, or when Zios disappeared, her tears became the phantoms. where are the shamans? Where is Animal Jam lore? Where is jamaa?
~Snowyclaw (Leader of the Jamaasian Movement)
They reply saying:
Hello Fellow Jammer,
We're absolutely delighted to hear from you! It is super wild to hear from such big fans of the Guides as much as we are. Snowyclaw, did you meet Graham at the National Geographic Geo Bee last summer? Wasn't that awesome? Here at Animal Jam HQ we are always looking for ways to make Jamaa more fun, exciting, and educational for all of our jammers. We understand that some of our friends in Jamaa are missing the guides. Please do not worry! We are excited to let you know the guides are enjoying exploring new lands! We will definitely pass along your feedback about bringing back the story and lore sections of the Animal Jam website! Thanks again for letting us know how much you and your fellow citizens of Jamaa enjoyed them. Things are always changing in the wild world of Jamaa. There are tons of secrets waiting to be discovered, and friendly Jammers waiting to meet you. We're sure with a bit of searching and help from your buddies, you'll be on your way to your next BIG adventure very soon!
Have fun, be safe, and don't forget to play Wild!

Snoyclaw then proceeds to tell us that they didn't join for the rares or the games. Neither did I as a matter of fact. The only reason I joined Animal Jam was because a good friend of mine (who just so happens to be the co-author of this blog) told me about this site as a way to stay in contact with another, because the site that we had originally been chatting on (SPP) would be shutting down soon. Because I ddin't want to lose contact with bunnylove3, I joined. The first time I met her on Animal Jam I didn't know which user was her, because she hadn't told me her username. But completely by chance (or perhaps, was it fate), we ran into each other, and she recognized be my username and asked, "Zelda...?". In the beginning I didn't really like Animal Jam that much, and I only logged on in rare occasions, because my only friend bunnylove3 was always in a certain den that was apparently a clan that she was in. However, I was soon invited into the clan, and after that I started logging on everyday. In case you didn't know, joining a clan is a great way to make new friends and meet new Jammers! (I'm still not quite sure how this turned into my conversion into Jamaa, but oh well). To summarize what I just said, the reason that I play Animal Jam isn't because of the rares and the games, but because of the wonderful friends that I would never have met otherwise. Snowyclaw says that some people only know Mira is the  "mother of the sky" and nothing else, there are no more shamans, and phantoms no longer appear in the Jamaa Journal. He says that Humanity is invading Jamaa! and I couldn't agree more. As an example: Cruise Ship Parties? I myself have never been on a cruise (and have no interest), but I feel like this was a rather poor choice. New parties are cool and all, but couldn't they have chosen something a little more... for lack of a better phrase, "in tune with nature"? The point is, that AJHQ are trying to humanize Jamaa, which takes away from the fun aspect of the game. Now a little snippet from Snowyclaw's Blog:
~If we want to make a difference we need to act together. I don't just mean all of you or this blog. We're pretty small in Jamaa. I mean every blog, every jammer, every single one you can find. If the word goes wide, we may have a chance. I'm sure many of you own blogs, or read other ones. Could you post this, or tell about this? No need to link my blog if you don't want you readers to come here. Just simply state the name and goal of our movement. Then we may have the chance. . . to change Jamaa.
That is the reason that I am making this post. It IS important. If you want to become a part of the Jamaasian Movement, our first and foremost goal is to Spread the Word. Tell your friends, tell your blog readers if you happen to have a blog, and you can even tell random strangers if you like. If you want to share your ideas, feel free to email Snowyclaw at animaljamspirit@gmail.com, and if you like, me! I'd love to hear your ideas. Also, if my post made no sense to you whatsoever you can see the original post here:http://animaljamspirit.blogspot.com/2012/06/jamaasian-movement.html
